Teacher Female & Male Positions

Qur'an, Tajweed & Hifdh Teacher

Location / Schools Ilford, Whitechapel, Mile End, Redbridge
Hours / Sessions Weekend (Sat & Sun) or Weekday (Mon–Thu)
Subjects Taught Tajweed, Khatmul Qur'an, Hifdh ul Qur'an
Key Responsibilities
  • Teach correct Makharij, Tajweed rules, and fluently guide students through the Tanzeel Qur'an syllabus.
  • Maintain punctual classroom attendance (arrive 10 mins before lessons).
  • Keep daily records of student progress in logs, diaries, and term reports.
  • Conduct termly evaluations every 16 weeks and participate in guardian meetings.
Requirements & Profile
  • Strong Qur'an recitation with sound knowledge of Tajweed rules.
  • Fluent communication skills in English to explain concepts to British students.
  • Enhanced DBS check (conducted or verified by Tanzeel).
  • Teaching certificate or Sanad/Ijazah is desirable.
Teacher Part-Time / Sessional

Arabic Language & Islamic Studies Teacher

Location / Schools All London Schools (Walthamstow, Bow, Ilford)
Hours / Sessions 6 hrs/weekend or 8-10 hrs/weekday evening
Subjects Taught Arabic Grammar/Vocab, Fiqh, Seerah, Dua & Salah
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Islamic studies and functional Arabic lessons using our bespoke course materials.
  • Inspire positive Islamic manners, akhlaq, and love for Salah & daily Adhkar.
  • Prepare termly assessment questions and maintain structured student tracking.
  • Coordinate with the Headteacher to implement seasonal themes and events.
Requirements & Profile
  • Proficiency in Arabic and structured Islamic Studies syllabus knowledge.
  • Experience teaching children aged 6–16 in English.
  • Passionate about child development and Tarbiyah.
  • Two satisfactory professional references required.
Early Years Female Teacher

Little Muslims Early Years Instructor (Ages 4–6)

Target Students Reception & Year 1 (Ages 4 to 6)
Teaching Methodology Play-based, phonics, stories, arts & crafts
Class Ratios Strict maximum 12 children per group
Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a warm, cheerful, welcoming first madrasah experience for our youngest learners.
  • Teach Arabic letter recognition, sensory letter tracing, and foundational surahs.
  • Maintain clean, secure, and nurturing classroom activity stations.
  • Communicate warmly with parents at drop-off and collection.
Requirements & Profile
  • Warm, patient, and energetic personality with genuine love for young children.
  • Previous EYFS, nursery, or early madrasah teaching experience.
  • Strong classroom supervision and child safeguarding knowledge.
Administration Weekend / Weekday

Madrasah School Administrator & Support

Primary Duties Attendance, Reception, Teacher Logistics
IT Requirements Google Sheets / Excel, Email, Printing
Communication Parent queries, gate supervision, safeguarding
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage student registration check-in, attendance registers, and late arrivals.
  • Assist teaching staff with photocopies, classroom supplies, and exam papers.
  • Serve as a friendly first point of contact for parents at the reception desk.
  • Support headteacher in health, fire safety, and gate security protocols.
Requirements & Profile
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with basic computer skills (spreadsheets, emails, printing).
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual. Enhanced DBS clearance required.

Teaching Sessions & Shift Times

Teachers can choose between weekend shifts, weekday evening shifts, or a combination for additional hours.

Weekend Schools (Saturday & Sunday)
Session 1 (Morning) 09:30 am – 12:30 pm
Session 2 (Afternoon) 01:00 pm – 04:00 pm
Session 3 (Late Afternoon) 04:30 pm – 07:30 pm
* Each session provides 3 hours tuition (6 hours total per weekend day). Teachers can take 1, 2, or all 3 sessions.
Weekday Evening Schools
Whitechapel Campus (Mon – Fri) 05:15 pm – 07:15 pm
Redbridge & Ilford (Mon – Thu) 05:00 pm – 07:00 pm
Mile End / Walthamstow 05:00 pm – 07:00 pm
* Weekday tuition provides 8 to 10 hours per week. Perfect for students, tutors, or professionals looking for evening teaching.
